Admitted Rising 9th Grade Students
Students entering 9th Grade:
Welcome to H-B Woodlawn! We invite admitted 9th grade students to spend the day at H-B Woodlawn in the coming weeks. Please see the assigned days below. We have little flexibility in accommodating scheduling requests, but if you have an immovable conflict, please contact Vanessa Piccorossi as soon as possible. Please remember that the deadline to accept or decline your student’s place at H-B Woodlawn is TBD. You will need to do this via SchoolMint as well as by working with your student to complete the online HBW Program Student-Parent Commitment and HBW 9th Grade Course Request form (details at the end of this page). Should you do NOTHING in SchoolMint by the deadline we will assume you are declining your spot and will offer it to the next student on the appropriate waiting list. We are excited to meet each of our rising 9th graders in the coming weeks!

This is a day for students to visit. Please drop your student off at 1601 Wilson Boulevard, in front of The Heights Building at 8:50 am. There is no need to park; staff will be there to greet your student and bring them into the building. Your student should bring something to write with, a notebook (of any kind) and a book to read. They can either get lunch from the cafeteria or bring a bagged lunch. Visiting students are not permitted off campus. Plan to pick your student up at the same location at 2:15. Again, staff will be there to help students and parents. There is no need to park. Plan to attend an important meeting for admitted rising 9th grade parents on TBD. This is your opportunity to meet our staff, ask questions, and learn more about the high school program at H-B Woodlawn.
