All middle and high school students are invited to play Ultimate Frisbee. Whether you are brand new to Ultimate or an experienced player, we have a spot for you!
Middle School Ultimate
The coed middle school program is primarily instructional. Practices are twice a week with an experienced coach and there is an emphasis on learning through playing. There is both a Fall and Spring season and, typically, one local tournament a season playing against other local middle schools. You can play one or both seasons, come as often as you want, and it is never too late to start.
High School Ultimate
Fall Season. Teams are coed, have an experienced coach, and include both new and returning players. Practices are 2-3 times per week and games are every Saturday in a DC-area coed recreational league. The emphasis is on learning the game, improving skills and having fun. Typically, there are also two local and one out-of-town, overnight tournaments in the Fall.
Spring Season. Teams are single gender with both a varsity and junior varsity team. Team assignments are made by the coaches. Practices are generally three times per week. The season culminates in the State and the Southern Regional high school championships. New players are encouraged to participate in the Spring season; the purpose of the junior varsity program is to teach and develop new players.
