Ultimate Frisbee

All middle and high school students are invited to play Ultimate Frisbee. Whether you are brand new to Ultimate or an experienced player, we have a spot for you!

Middle School Ultimate

The middle school program is primarily instructional and offers students an opportunity to learn to play or continue to develop with an experienced coach. In the fall, there is a local season hosted by APS with practices for all genders and games against local middle schools in Arlington. There is no sign up required for the APS middle school season. There is also a fall and spring season hosted by the Youth Ultimate League of Arlington (YULA) for new and returning middle school players. More information for middle school club ultimate can be found at yula-ulti.org.

High School Ultimate

In the fall, the open and women’s ultimate teams at H-B participate in an APS season with practices and games against local high schools. Players are responsible for providing their own transportation to and from practices and games. There is no sign up required for the APS season. Check the announcements and flyers around H-B for the fall practice and game schedule.

There is also a fall and spring season for high school players hosted by the Youth Ultimate League of Arlington (YULA). The YULA club team will travel to a regional level tournament in the fall, and multiple tournaments in the spring culminating in the VA States Ultimate Tournament in May.
