Student iRide Card

The iRide Student Card allows APS students to ride Metro and ART buses free (24 hours a day/7 days a week/all year) as long as the ride starts and/or ends in Arlington. Though the card also works for Metro trains, students still need to add money to the card for train rides (no discount – full fare). The card is designed to work until students graduate from high school. It’s a great alternative to our yellow buses, and it works on nights/weekends too.

Click on the logo below to complete the iRide SmarTrip Card Registration Form. It’s the same link whether you are getting your first card or you lost it and need another.  You need to be logged into your APS account for it to work, so you should fill the form out on your APS iPad or laptop, not your phone.

Once you register, it takes a week or two for the physical card to arrive.  Graham will come find you and give you your iRide Student Card when it arrives to HBW.
