Our bi-annual Silent Auction is our most essential fundraiser that fully supports our Music Scholarship Program. The proceeds of the auction enable all music students to participate in the music activities and attend our annual trips, regardless of financial need. In addition to being a meaningful fundraiser, it is also a fun community night. Join us at The Heights for dinner, while being serenaded by our talented music students. Please consider supporting this cause, volunteering to help, or at least coming out for a wonderful evening of community, music and fun!
Volunteers Needed:
We need volunteers to collect donations, promote the event, manage the dinner, and support in-person bidding. We welcome assistance from our music community whether you are new to auctions or have first-hand experience planning/organizing auctions and large events. Contact Kimberley Marchant or Courtney Holmes to join the team!
Now Collecting Donations:
This is something that everyone can help with. We are hoping to have a diverse collection of items to offer for auction. Here are just some examples: gift cards for local businesses, including restaurants, spas and boutiques; tickets to local attractions – local live theaters, movie theaters, sporting events; services from businesses, parents, aunts/uncles/friends – framing, photography, baking, special dinner, voice or music lessons, musical performances; vacation rentals – a week at the beach, an island cottage, a NYC apartment; unique activities – backstage visits, behind the scenes guided tour; themed gift baskets; etc.
We encourage you to request donations from organizations/ businesses. For a list of business where we are likely to have favorable results, see the Solicitations Tab on this sheet. Feel free to sign up for several businesses to contact. Donor Thank You Letters will be provided for all donations and donor names will be included in the auction guide. The donation deadline is March 18th, 2023. Items donated early may be featured in our online auction open from March 17-24.
