Middle School Spring Music Trip

Each year, HBW Music Middle School students take a field trip for two great reasons.  First, we participate in the Music In the Parks Festival, where our ensembles perform for a panel of music educators, receive educational feedback and hear the music of different ensembles.  Second, we go to celebrate our many accomplishments of the year.  During our time in the park, we will also go to the culminating Awards Ceremony to find out the results of the music competition.

The cost of this trip will be approximately $150, which includes all transportation, participation and admission fees.  The HBW Music Scholarship Fund is available to any student who may need assistance to attend this trip.  If this is something you would like to consider, please contact your child’s music teacher.

In order for trips such as this to happen safely and appropriately, chaperones are necessary.  If you are interested in chaperoning, please let a music teacher know as soon as possible.  Unfortunately, we are not able to afford complimentary trips, so chaperones are asked to pay the trip cost.  We promise that chaperoning our trip is easy, and a time well-spent.  Thank you for your support of what promises to be a very meaningful and exciting trip for our music students.
