2019 HBW Chorus Auditions

Well done you for wanting to audition for Camerata or Chamber Singers next year! This year’s audition piece is next year’s All-District Chorus audition piece, so you will get a jump on learning it! This also means that all people who wish to audition are starting from the same position – not knowing this song. Your successful preparation will be an indicator of what you will bring to next year’s choral ensembles.

The audition will consist of:

Vocal warm-ups/range exercises
Pitch matching
Singing “My Country Tis of Thee”
Singing Thomas Arne’s “Blow, Blow Thou Winter Wind”
Sight Reading

(Note: you may chose whichever voice part is most comfortable for you. You are will not be judged based on soprano, alto, tenor or bass, so chose the part that you feel you sing the best!)
