Connecting to APS Wireless Network

The APS network is needed to access APS network resources including file storage, SOL testing and printers.  This can be used on school computers as well as personal computers and mobile devices (iPads, phones, etc.)

  1. Select the wireless settings on your computer or device.  PC = PC wifi icon  Macs = Mac wifi icon iPad = iPad settings icon
  2. All students and staff can connect to APS using their regular APS login and password.
  3. Accept the security certificate when asked.

Staff PC laptops will connect to the wireless automatically, but must be hard wired with a network cable the first time a staff member logs into the laptop.

Connecting to APS.guest or APS.visitor or APS.Computers

APS.Computers is a network used in elementary schools.  It will not work correctly at H-B Woodlawn.

The APS.guest and APS.visitor networks are available for parents, guests and anyone in school who does not have an APS student or staff login. This network can not connect to many APS resources such as files or printing.  Connecting to these networks even one time will cause problems later.  Students and staff should never connect to APS.guest or APS.visitor.
